Every aspect of our Systematic Grazing has been carefully planned for the safety and well-being of both horses and owners.Each horse receives:
Daily individual wellness checks
Morning and evening feeding in its own stall
Owner-supplied grain and supplements administered as directed
Medication administration when needed
Access to frost-free water, shelter, shade, and multiple hay stations when not on grass
Careful herd management and continual observation by experienced staff
Owner & Barn Manager live on site

Stepping Stones Farm has welcomed people and horses since 1754. Today, our farm continues that tradition by creating a place where horses flourish, owners find community, and learning never stops. As the home of Wisdom Horse, our property is also a center for equine-assisted learning, leadership development, and horse welfare education. Our Grazing System serves as both a home for horses and a living demonstration of thoughtful, science-informed horse management.
Board includes daily professional care, Systematic Grazing turnout, individualized feeding, stall access twice daily, wellness monitoring, use of the indoor arena and outdoor rings, tack storage, and trailer parking.
Veterinary, farrier, grain, supplements, and additional hay requirements remain the responsibility of the horse owner.
