When guests enter the Lodge, they often stop and simply look up.
The great room opens into a soaring cathedral ceiling with hand-hewn beams, warm wood interior, and a massive fieldstone fireplace — built from stones gathered right here on the farm. There is something about the space that people feel immediately. A sense of calm. A sense of connection. Many simply call it good energy; and there is a reason for that. The Lodge was not just built — it was created together. Family and friends gathered stones from the fields, each one carried by hand to become part of the great fireplace that anchors the room today. Each log in the Lodge was debarked and lifted into place — handled again and again with effort and care. The chandeliers were hand crafted. The interior was built by a man who grew up here when the farm served as the County Farm. There is history in the walls — but also something more. A sense that this place was built with intention, vision, and community. For more than fifty years, the Lodge has welcomed people for learning, celebration, healing, and connection, and when people walk in… they feel it.
