Stepping Stones Newsletter August 2026

Dear Friends,

As I sat on my deck, my pup on my lap, watching the sun settle over the farm, I realized August may be my favorite month. The gardens overflow, the horses graze, children laugh in the pool, and the evenings invite lingering by the campfire under the stars.

Something about August reminds me not to rush. Summer won't last forever, so we savor it by staying outside a little later, breathing a little deeper.

That rhythm is something we cherish at Stepping Stones. For 55 years, it's been my honor to share the spirit of this land with so many wonderful people.

Summer Fun on the Farm

This summer has been full of amazing moments of joy, happiness and connection, reunions and celebrations around our tables, delight with our horses, chicken, goats and minis, and good old fashioned fun.

One of my favorite things here has never changed. Long after the activities end, people simply begin talking. Phones disappear, stories are shared, and everyone slows down. Those are the moments we hope our guests cherish long after they leave...
