The days are sunny, the nights are cool, and the leaves are glowing with autumn color....

We have given our horses the space they need to form a settled herd.  Mostly, we have let them live as horses once lived...together.

Reflecting on my six decades on this amazing land.  I feel awe, gratitude, commitment and pride in all the many ways we have welcomed the world to our farm gates. 

This summer has been full of amazing moments of joy, happiness and connection, reunions and celebrations around our tables, delight with our horses, chickens, goats and minis, and good old-fashioned fun. One of my favorite things here has never changed. Long after the activities end, people simply begin talking. Phones disappear, stories are shared, and everyone slows down. Those are the moments we hope our guests cherish long after they leave......
