Guest Stays

Friends, Family & Group Retreats

Whatever brings you here, our farm offers a setting where you can relax, reconnect and find room to breathe. Wake to the sound of birdsong, wander along peaceful trails, enjoy our farm animals, big & small, share long meals and conversation, and watch the sun set over the landscape. As evening falls, gather around the fire, exchange stories and enjoy the simple pleasure of being present with one another.

Our comfortable accommodations and welcoming spaces offer the best of both worlds: room to come together and quiet corners to retreat to when you need time to yourself. Guests often tell us they leave feeling different from when they arrived — calmer, clearer, more grounded and renewed.

Sometimes, a change of scenery and the opportunity to connect with the land and community in a meaningful way can make all the difference. And what begins here, travels home with you, finding its way into your relationships, your work and the way you approach life.

Come as you are. Whoever you are. Whatever brings you here.

Your time at Stepping Stones starts here.

House 5.jpg
The Historic Living Room welcomes guests with wide pine floors worn smooth over generations, Indian shutters, and a large fireplace with a cooking crane.

This was once the heart of the home — where travellers gathered, warmed themselves, and shared news from the road.

Revolutionary Room

Stepping Stones-207.jpg
The Revolutionary Room holds a quiet act of defiance.

The wooden panels above the fireplace were crafted from “King’s Pines” — trees reserved by law for the masts for the British Navy.

Their public display here tells a story of early independence and courage.

This room has a Queen bed.

The School Room

STEPPINGSTONESFARM Homestead-3.jpg
At that time, it was decided that children should not walk more than three miles to school and back each day, so homes like this became places of learning.

This room now is s family room, with a queen and 2 twin beds.

The Library Room

Stepping Stones-215.jpg
This was Command Central for the gentleman of the house who was granted 50 acres of land in return for being an Army Captain in the French and Indian War.

From this room, all the financial and farm development plans were made.  Here the banking records and the family Bible were stored for safekeeping.

Today, this bedroom is the ideal place for a good night’s rest in a comfy queen bed.
