Boo Martin
The heart and spirit keeper of Stepping Stones Farm

Boo is the owner of Stepping Stones Farm & Retreat Center in Temple, New Hampshire, a historic farm and gathering place that has welcomed people since 1754. With more than five decades of leadership at the farm, Boo continues its longstanding tradition of hospitality, community, and connection while building a sustainable future for this remarkable property.
As head of hospitality, Boo is passionate about creating a welcoming and peaceful environment where families and friends gather to celebrate life’s milestones, organizations strengthen their teams, and individuals find space to rest, reflect, and renew. Through the farm’s distinctive lodging, retreat facilities, historic buildings, and beautiful rural landscape, she offers guests more than a place to stay. She creates opportunities for meaningful connection, shared experiences, and lasting memories.
Boo believes that hospitality is about making every person feel valued, respected, and welcome. She takes pride in working alongside a dedicated team whose care and commitment bring the farm to life, ensuring that guests experience genuine warmth, thoughtful service, and a peaceful place to reconnect with themselves and one another.
Her work is guided by a deep respect for the farm’s history, its animals, and the land. She believes historic farms can remain vibrant and financially sustainable while serving an essential role in modern life: bringing people together in a world that too often feels divided and disconnected.
Boo is committed to preserving the farm’s heritage while creating new opportunities for families, friends, businesses, and community groups to gather, learn, celebrate, and grow. She understands that sustaining a property with such a rich history requires both a generous spirit and thoughtful leadership.
Her vision is for Stepping Stones Farm to remain a place of possibility, hope, and belonging for generations to come—a welcoming haven where people can connect, create lasting memories, and experience the enduring value of community.
